Krista Gottlieb brings various perspectives for resolution; as attorney/counselor for 34 years, as practicing neutral, mediator, arbitrator, litigator, advocate, lecturer, trainer and problem solver. She assists
the participants in any conflict resolution process to reach optimally achievable results.
After starting her practice as a litigator in New York City in 1980, she moved to Buffalo in 1986 where she was a managing partner at Mattar, D’Agostino & Gottlieb, LLP until 2013. She is now expanding her “appropriate” resolution law practice as neutral, settlement counsel or litigator, independently and with a network of available professionals.
Krista Gottlieb is proud to have been selected as a mediator and arbitrator by Western New York professionals, business leaders and fellow attorneys. Serving as a professional neutral allows her to use her legal, business and conflict resolution expertise
to find options that lead to an appropriate and customized resolution for the parties.
She has hands on multi-tasking experience with businesses, management, employees, multiple priorities and client needs.

Ms. Gottlieb was one of the “trailblazers” involved with the creation, design and implementation of the Mediation and ADR programs now available in the US District Court for the Western District of New York and the New York State 8th Judicial District. She serves on, and is active with, those and numerous other ADR panels.
As a complement to her neutral advocacy practice, Ms. Gottlieb participates on various advisory/design panels for conflict resolution, mediation, arbitration, program systems designs, as well as the promulgation of multi-option ADR programs. She is a teacher and lecturer on the topics of ADR, Collaborative Problem Solving, Conflict Resolution processes and a Mediation trainer.
Admission: 1980: New York State, all NY Federal District Courts and U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.
Education: Barnard College (B.A., 1976, cum laude); Albany Law School of Union University (J.D., 1979).
ADR Training Taken: Over 300+/- hours of training taken from 1995 to present.
ADR Training Given: Numerous trainings (including 40 hours and semester long mediation certification trainings
